|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
"This is not the site of the original burials. The original site has been destroyed by floods over the years and the flow of the [Missouri] river had changed. In 1993 there was the "Great Flood" and Washington University of St Louis MO removed the markers for safe keeping until after the flood. The markers were returned except for Katharine L Albrecht, John Albrecht, Louis Bayer and Witte. There was a marker found after the flood, hand carved, with the inscription of M.S. 1831."
