|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The Hanover Street Burial Grounds contained three seperate and distinct graveyards - the Kensington Methodist Episcopal Cemetery, the Union Harmony Burial Grounds, and the Union Wesleyan Church Cemetery.
The interments were removed in 1922 to Fernwood Cemetery in Delaware County, Forest Hills Memorial Park in Montgomery County and North Cedar Hill Cemetery on Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia.
A playground now exists on the site of the Hanover Street Burial Grounds.
ADMINISTRATIVE NOTE: Interments should NOT be submitted to this cemetery. They should be place in the cemetery/burial ground they were re-interred in, with a biographical notation detailing their original burial site.
