|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Cemetery is well-maintained, but is on private property. The Lane-Queen Cemetery is located on the farm of John Baxter, formerly the Queen farm. It is in Vinton County on the Ross Co. line in an area known as West Junction. The fence is on the county line. Observed gravestones date to as early as 1818, with the most recent reported ones being in the 1860's. To get to the cemetery take Route 35 from Chillicothe past Richmond. Turn on Elam Road right. In half a mile you will come to Bronx Corner. This is West Junction. You will see Trippie's Warehouse. Turn and go behind the warehouse. Travel 1 to 1.5 miles. Go around a real sharp curve. Turn left at the next road. Go to John Baxter's house. The driveway is right across from a trailer. Drive straight back to the cemetery. Don't go across the narrow bridge or you have gone too far.
