Cemetery notes and/or description:
Located on Main Street near the historic Lehigh Canal. The cemetery is maintained by church volunteers. It contains many old unreadable stones.
This cemetery is behind The Gospel of Jesus Christ Christian Center, 140 Monroe St.
The former name of this small church was Zion Evangelical Congregation. The cemetery directly behind the Center was the Zion Evangelical Cemetery and extended south to Church St. and west to Green St. This cemetery was used for about 100 years. |
