Cemetery notes and/or description: The land for this cemetery was given as a gift to the town by the Vermont Marble Company. The oldest marked graves date to 1912, with one notable exception. Jonathan Southmayd, teacher and clergyman who died in 1838 and was buried in a single grave on Williams Street, was reburied at Riverside in 1979.
