This burial place is referenced to in the book "Vital Records of Abington, Massachusetts to 1850", Published by the New England Historic Genealogical Society, as G.R.15 "Stones on north side of Beech Hill, said to have been victims of small pox" (The town of Rockland separated from the town of Abington on March 9th, 1874).
