|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Nathaniel Armstrong, who the chapel is named after, deeded land for a place of worship in 1830. However, burials were made in the location before then. The oldest recorded burial is from 1807. South of the old section is a new burial section with flush-to-the-ground markers and a columbarium. The south central area is the location for many World War I influenza victims buried in unmarked graves.
