Uppsala Domkyrka (Cathedral of Uppsala)
Uppsala
Uppsala kommun
Uppsala län  Sweden

Cemetery notes and/or description:
Uppsala Cathedral (Uppsala domkyrka) is Scandinavia's largest and highest church, founded around 1260 and consecrated in 1435.

As the Church of Sweden's national sanctuary, Cathedral for Uppsala archdiocese and parish church, the Cathedral is visited by hundreds of thousands of people each year. Among fixtures worth seeing in the church are Erik den Helige's shrine, the pulpit from 1709, the modern wall tapestries, and Sweden's largest church window.

The Cathedral is also the burial place for archbishops, kings and leaders - including Nathan Söderblom, Gustav Vasa and Johan III with his queens, and Carl von Linné. The Cathedral is also home to a unique textile museum, Skattkammaren (The treasure chest).
