Cemetery notes and/or description:
The Maple Grove OLD Cemetery, also known as Old Maple Grove Cemetery, is on the WEST side of Main Street, Hoosick Falls Village, NY. The old cemetery extends from Main Street to the west and down hill to the railroad tracks. The earliest stones in the cemetery date late 1700's. A majority of the stones date 1800's through early 1900's, with a few more recent burials in older existing lots.
(The Maple Grove "New" Cemetery is located directly across Main Street and extends to the east, up the hill to a beautiful view of the surrounding area. The "New" cemetery is active and here you will find more recent burials - mid 1900's to 2000's.)
