|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
This is an unmarked cemetery located in the middle of a field. Of the 46 people buried here, only 13 have been identified.
In 2000, a stone was erected at West Moe Lutheran Church (16249 County Rd 8 NW) in memory of those buried in this cemetery. The stone, which lists the 13 known burials also shows the layout of the graves, and reads as follows:
"In memory of the early settlers of this community. Some of these early pioneers are buried approximately 0.9 miles east of this marker in the SW 1/4 of Sec. 8, T128N, R39W. The burial site, containing 46 graves is 940 feet north of Co. Rd. 8 and 1730 feet east of Co. Rd. 7. The first burial is believed to have occurred in 1868."
