|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The Richfield Pioneer Cemetery was the first cemetery in Richfield, and was used from 1864 to 1883. All of the gravestones and some of the burials were moved when the current Richfield cemetery was created at a different location. The Richfield High School and its associated campus was built over the pioneer cemetery. A marker was erected in 1917 commemorating the cemetery, and is located just west of the high school's tennis courts.
