Gray-Harris Cemetery
Carsonville
Taylor County
Georgia  USA

Cemetery notes and/or description:
Off 19 N-(Carsonville area) County Rd. 106 on right from Butler. If you see Antioch Baptist on the right- you have gone too far. The cemetery is off a woods road-in the woods

Description from THEY WERE HERE 1971-Vol 7 #12 who also had a survey-
In the extreme NE section of Taylor Co. on S209 to the right of Hwy 19-on the left side of the road going east is the Gray Cemetery. (Harris came much later, but the county picked up that name, though only a couple of them are buried here)

This part of Taylor County was former Talbot County when some of these people died.

The sign, the fence, and the re-naming of the cemetery back to the original Gray (And not Harris as it became in later generations) was done in 2012.

A lot of graves have been destroyed by hunters in the area, who had a stand in the cemetery, and 3 wheelers etc. All known old lists were used of the graves. But there were many more.
