|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Old Deersville Cemetery is located to the rear and west side of the Deersville Methodist Church on Main Street in Deersville (Franklin Township), Harrison county, Ohio. Unlike most early settlements, Deersville had one cemetery. Members of other churches were buried there. Most of the burials were in the eighteen hundreds. Patterson Union cemetery, across the street, has most of the burials in the nineteen hundreds. Deersville is at the crossroads of county roads 2 and 21. Since it is located in the corner of Franklin Township by Stock, Nottingham, and Washington Townships, many of the people buried here lived in the other tonwships. It is the southwest quarter of section 25, township 12, range 6.
