The church building has dominated the landscape of this part of South Leicestershire for over 800 years. It is renowned for its former Rector, John Wycliffe who first translated the Bible into English in the 14th Century, and became a centre for mission through him.There are 8 wargraves in the churchyard[text by Geoffrey Gillon]
