|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
This is a small family plot on private property on Rt 5S, just over the Montgomery County line. The gravestones were rescued from oblivion by the current owner, who used heavy equipment to haul a large broken monument and smaller stones from a nearby field where they had been discarded. He cemented the large monument back together. The owner believes at least two more individuals are buried here, noting the presence of a gravestone used to prop up the old carriage barn on his property (no inscription can be viewed) and multiple undecipherable pieces of other old stones he has saved. A gorgeous view of the Mohawk Valley can be seen from the site and it is said that there are other small Walrath cemeteries nearby on other farms. Route 5S was once known as the Dutchtown Road.
