|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The Old Parksville Cemetery, (originally known as the MARTIN CEMETERY, on the Okeefe Hill road, prior to 2012), Parksville, New York, lies on a bank at the side of the newly (2012) reconstructed old town road (now MACKEY ROAD) off Main Street, Parksville. One can see the newly constructed street sign "Mackey Road", off of Parksville's short Main Street. Only several dozen or so early Parksville and other Town of Liberty settlers and residents are buried in this small cemetery lying off side of the visible and recently constructed portion of Interstate 86 which passes by it with exits (Exit-98) to the village in both east/west directions. The lives of residents of this cemetery go back as far as the 18th century.
