The original Church (now in ruins) was Upper Cumber Church of Ireland, but the new church was built about a quarter of a mile away in the 1820's and this church and cemetery fell into disrepair.
It is situated in the grounds of Cumber House and the famous BROWNE - LECKY family are reputed to be buried here.
This cemetery can be found on the Cregg Road at the junction of the B49 Cumber Road, just south of Claudy. It is situated on a very dangerous corner.
