Located behind what is now the Christ Alive Church The United Methodist Cemetery of East Meadow is the burial place of a person born as early as 1788 and at least four Civil War Veterans. The first internment at the cemetery took place in 1858. The current Methodist Church is now located across the street.
Innkeepers John and Mary Noon donated the plot of land on East Meadow Avenue (it was Newbridge Avenue at one time) for the erection of a church and the establishment of a burial ground.
