Located in Currytowne Station Subdivision, E of SC 230, & N of Currytown Road174. Enter the subdivision & turn left on Roper Court. The cemetery is on the left just over o.1 mile. Marked graves are about 150 feet off road. In the back of which appears to be a large graveyard, perhaps a slave cemetery. 10 marked graves and numerous unmarked graves. Surveyed by SOM & WAR 2 July 1989. On Nov. 9, 2001, the DAR placed a Revolutionary War Marker at the gravesite of John Curry. At the dedication of the DAR Marker, Dr. Thomas Fortson Curry, a direct descendant ststed that some seventeen to nineteen family member graves, ten with headstones and a slave section of fifty-five to fifty-eight graves marked with fieldstones were in the cemetery based on a comprehensive study of the site. Also at the time of the dedication Mrs.Vera Dorn Miller resurveyed the Cemetery.
