Cemetery notes and/or description: The Lawsonville Cemetery is located in the Lawsonville Valley southwest of Four Corners, Hardin county, Kentucky off St. John Road. Lawsonville at one time had a school and post office. The post office was operational from January 8, 1826 to 1842. The cemetery is located on Private Property and may only be entered with permission. There is evidence of about 100 graves. There are only a few legible gravestones and those will be entered with the memorials here. Most gravestones are field stones which show no signs of ever having an inscription. Please DO NOT request gravestone pictures because all legible stones are already posted. |
