|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The first burial was Rev. Angel Wright, who died in 1856 while following some horse thieves into Saratoga Township from Iowa. The first resident of Saratoga Township to be buried was Justen Braddock in 1856. The cemetery association was organized in 1859 at which time there were already a few burials on the site. The land was donated by Daniel Durham. There are 700+ marked graves. This is still an active cemetery. (text by C. Kay)
