|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
This cemetery sits next to a little country church called Center Ridge Presbyterian Church. The land for both the church and the cemetery were donated by adjacent farmers/land owners Simeon and Mary Jane Aiken in 1883. Their son J. Edward Aiken is the oldest burial of the approximately 190 burials there. His burial was in 1874. The two acres was donated to the Trustees of the church. In 1926 ownership and care of the cemetery was transferred to Lincoln Township. Lincoln Township still cares for the cemetery as of this writing in 2011. Mrs. Richard P. (Kathleen) Kelley has long been active in the care of the cemetery and the maintenance of its records. Kathy and Richard live on their farm, which is a short ways east of the cemetery. Many of those buried there were members of the Center Ridge congregation.
