Cemetery notes and/or description:
Located in Sec 18, Recovery Township. Was approximately one mile north of Ft. Recovery, Ohio on State Route 49 to Park Road. The cemetery was on west side of road in a field on east bank of the Wabash River.
Originated as private plot. Wm. Scott original owner 1850 and land later belonged to Nels Anderson whose wife was mary Scott. No markers left.
Green Mound Cemetery has marker for this cemetery in southeast corner, stating the remains were moved there October 26, 1976.
Listed was complied from several old readings by various persons taken years ago when some stones were still readable. |
