|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
This is a small, well-maintained cemetery within the Fort Sill Army Post. While located inside the post, it is well away from the main part of the post. The best way to find it is to get a map at the post museum. In several references I found it is also referred to as the Bailtso South Apache Cemetery. The entry sign calls it the Apache South Cemetery so I think that is the most convenient name to use. There are several family members of Clarence Bailtso, an Army Scout who was unjustly made a Prisoner of War when the Apaches surrendered and were relocated. The people buried in this cemetery are all Prisoners of War or their descendents.
