|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The Old Town Cemetery is just off Waterwheel Road (Rt 634) 1/4 mile from the intersection with Greenville Road (Rt 640). Have to go through gate to enter the cemetery.
In the early days of Grayson County, the nearby settlement was called Greenville. The first county seat was located there. The county seat was later moved to Independence, Virginia. This cemetery has been called by many names over the years, and most likely was originally the Dickenson Family Cemetery.
Cemetery in nice condition and stone have been restored to there original form of glory.
