|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The Port Essington Cemetery is located at the west end of this 'ghost town', located near the mouth of the Skeena River at its confluence with the Ecstall River. The now overgrown cemetery was used by various ethnic groups; Aboriginal, Japanese, Chinese, Finnish and other Europeans, that lived in this fishing and cannery community from the booming 1870s to the last fire in 1965 which leveled the town.
