|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
This cemetery was previously identified as Dawson or Dawson #1 in the Upson Co., Ga. Cemetery Book and on the Upson Co. Web Page.
From Thomaston courthouse square south on Highway 19, 1 6/10 miles past Tobler Creek on right side of road about 500 yards. A turning lane was left to allow visitors to the cemetery by the Georgia State Highway Department. This was done by a request to Cooter Waller by John R. & Carl B. Adams.
This cemetery is on private land. The owner does not want the public to go on the property without permission.
Additionally, if someone wants to visit the cemetery, they can leave a note on the owner's mailbox (on street) requesting to visit with a time and date and phone number. There really is nothing left but one marked grave and a stone wall. The interior of the graveyard is totally grown up with large (over 12")diameter trees, lots of brush and briars. ~Clyde Padgett
There is only ONE Marker for Falba Atwater. There are NO MARKERS for any of the Adams Family Members. Family bible is listed as source of burial on USGWarchives.org
