|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
30 identified interments as of February, 2009.
18 have been found and photographed by Greg Stewart as of November 6, 2009. It is unlikely that any more stones will be discovered and many that Greg photographed may be the only record of their existence.
"The cemetery is located on 205 out of Marshville behind what was once the rendering plant. It has literally turned into a trash dump. Bill and I went there to try to update it and could not access it. There has been all manner of garbage dumped all around it. At one time there was a garden supply store there..the building is still standing..and they took soil from around the perimeter of the cemetery to manufacture potting soil. Charles Bivens said that when he was there in 1982 most of the markers had been broken and a lot of damage had been done by logging. (Email from Ann Price 11/1/2009)
I am grateful to the wonderful volunteers at Find A Grave for their dedication and assistance in creating and maintaining this Virtual Cemetery.
