Seeborg Cemetery, 504 North Columbia Heights Road, Longview, WA 98632
Legal Description: NW1/4-NE1/4, Section 5, T8N-R2W
The Seeborg Cemetery is located on the Seeborg family farm which is about 6 miles from Longview-
Kelso on Columbia Heights Road. You must travel in the driveway 1/4 mile to the farmhouse, then
go 1/4 mile up the hill behind the house to reach the cemetery. The overall condition is very
poor. There are no fences, and animals roam freely. There are many unmarked graves, especially of neighborhood children.
The Seeborg Cemetery was first used in 1908 when Steffan Seeborg's daughter Lizzie died. The last burial was in 1981 for Steffan's son, Hugo. There are about two dozen burials, most of Finnish descent. On May 26, 1938 this cemetery was formally dedicated to the public although there is no care provided. Burials are still welcome.
