This is a town-entrusted cemetery. There are 74 names engraved on the stones here. Of those, 26 people are remembered here but buried elsewhere and 48 people are buried here. Zilpah (Shurtleff) Atwood was the first person buried here, in 1838. The most recent burial was of Clarence Elmer Thomas in 1958.

The Massachusetts Historical Commission refers to this cemetery in MACRIS as MID817.
This burial site is referenced to in the book "Old Cemeteries of Southeastern Massachusetts" by Charles M Thatcher as "Cemetery on Tispaquin St. Fall Brook".
