|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
This cemetery was started by Lucy Frances Johnson Martin wife of John Dalton Martin. They owned the farm, and when their son David Radford Martin perished suddenly of the Spanish Influenza, on October 22, 1918, she decided to bury him on the family farm. David became the first to be buried there, after which Lucy herself was buried there at her death in 1934. Gradually it be became a more formal cemetery area and was demarked by a fence by Lucy's son Chester Arthur Martin. Friends of the Martin Family were invited to bury family in the new cemetery as well.
