The cemetery is an Orthodox Jewish Cemetery and is 0.4 acres in size. This cemetery was affiliated with the New Hope Congregation, which began in 1939 addressing the needs of refugees and, later, survivors from Europe. The New Hope Congregation closed in 1994. This is one cemetery among a group of cemeteries referred to collectively as the Covedale Cemeteries. The entrance to this cemetery off Sidney Road is shared with the Yad Chorutzim, Northern Hills, and Tiferath Israel cemeteries.
