|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The cemetery for Sugenheim and surrounding area is on a ridge at the edge of a forest on the outskirts of the village of Ullstadt, approximately 3 kilometers from Sugenheim. No longer in use, it served temporarily as a district cemetery by other communities, including Aub, Burgambach, Burghaslach, Diespeck (until 1811), Dottenheim, Kaubenheim, Neustadt an der Aisch (until 1811), Pahres, Scheinfeld, Schnodsenbach, Schornweisach and Sugenheim (since 1620).
The site, which is enclosed on three sides by a low stone wall, contains many old, partially or completely illegible gravestones. The oldest grave dates from 1627 (Salman ben Abraham, died on February 1, 1627). There is a large Tahara (purification) house with two rooms located at the entrance.
