|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Mrs. Rogers M. Clark of Memphis Tennessee visited this cemetery in 1952. At that time she said, "News of the slow destruction of the Brooks Cemetery located north of Shady Grove Road, east of White Station Road and west of Yates Road, near the suburban section of Memphis, Tennessee called White Station, prompted by two visits in the spring of 1952. At this time a road was being cut through the old cemetery and the iron fences, marble slabs and tombstones were being desecrated by the building of a new sub-division." She then detailed eleven stones which were the only ones present at the time. She also noted that other familes known to have been buried in this cemetery were Yates, Clark and Vassar.
