Cemetery notes and/or description:
Location: Leeds Village (also called St-Jacques-de-Leeds in French) is located on Rte 269, the original Craig's Road. From Thetford Mines (Route 112) there are several ways to get to Leeds. Take Rte 267, 269 or 271, The cemetery is at the North end of town on the right side of the road heading North.

The cemetery is the final resting place of the areas earliest settlers. Settlement began in 1809 and the early settlers were mostly from England, Scotland and Ireland. Saint James Anglican Church was built in 1831 and is the oldest Church of England south of Quebec City.

The cemetery is beside and behind the church. Today it is a Heritage site and during the summer the Corporation du Patrimoine du Canton de Leeds has tours and special activities. Leeds Model School built in 1896 serves as the Heritage Centre.

The condition of the cemetery was good. It is kept mowed and stones repaired.
