Cemetery notes and/or description: This cemetery has burials dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries and is still active to this day. It contains over 26,000 burials on 40 + acres. Some the records from 1875-1894 were destroyed by fire.

· Sold to a member of the locally prominent Bliss Family
· Alternately and unofficially was referred to locally as “Peabody Cemetery” in honor of Unitarian minister and founding member, Rev. William B. O. Peabody |
