|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The first burial in the Pekin Hill cemetery was in 1811.
For many years it was called the Gilbert Hill cemetery, so named as it was Allen Gilbert who donated the acre the cemetery occupies overlooking the Salmon River valley at Pekin hill. After a time it was called the Finister cemetery, after the family who purchased the land from the Gilberts. It was also sometimes noted as Molino Cemetery, it was in the Molino district in the town of Orwell.
It's a poorly maintained inactive cemetery, located on Pekin hill, overlooking Co. Rte 22
