Cemetery notes and/or description: Memorial Lawns Cemetery was founded in 1961. It contains over forty acres of cemetery space. The Garden of Gethsemane, Garden of Memory, Garden of Prayer and Garden of St. Bernard were part of the original development. The planning concept was one of flat or grass level markers. However, there has been an increase in the popularity of upright memorials and therefore half of the Garden of St. Bernard along with a new garden called the Garden of Peace will contain upright memorials.
The mausoleum at this cemetery is called the Chapel of Remembrance Mausoleum. This mausoleum also has a columbarium for the interment of cremains.
