The Tristram Goldthwaite House in Biddeford Pool was built in 1713 and was first used as a trading station and survived the French and Indian wars. It was once occupied by the Jordan familes and Captain Samuel Jordan. It was the oldest house in Biddeford (at Hills Beach) when it burned in 1962.
Samuel Jordan and his family are buried here per records at the McArthur Public Library
