The east half of Lot 3 Concession 5 west, was purchased for a church and burying ground by the trustees of Melville Church from Daniel McLachlan. In 1837 Dan McMillan of Erin and brothers built the wooden church and it was painted white. The church also become known by a second name "White Church".
HWY #10 North to Town line (34 sideroad), go west to fourth line west, turn north for approximately one mile or so. On the west side of the road.
The map location is from Google Earth. It may not be exact because it doesn't seem to match the directions given above.
