|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Grace Church was admitted into the Diocese in 1845, but membership goes back prior to 1841.
The only active part of this churchyard today is the Memorial Garden/Columbarium. Many of the people buried in graves in the cemetery were original members or descendants of charter members of the church. There are a number of unmarked graves which are believed to lie in rows at the end of the marked rows. About 25 of these are the graves of African Americans. A bronze plaque on the southwest side of the church lists those whose names are known.
This cemetery was briefly featured in the independent film WESLEY, a biographical look at the life of John Wesley, founder of Methodism.
