Cemetery notes and/or description: Jeil Huntley gave the land for the cemetery in the 1800s. His grave has not been located. Simple stones dating in the 1800s are here, as well as many newer markers. There are numerous unmarked graves.
Directions from Crockett taken Highway 19 South, turn East on the dirt road beside The New Pleasant Grove Church, and opposite the Four Mile State Park. Seven-tenths of a mile on the dirt road is the cemetery, on the left side of the road. The gate is locked; a key can be borrowed from a near neighbor. After entering the ranch, owned by Darlene Brown, go about a mile on the sandy road to the cemetery. This road is virtually impassable during rainy weather. Lovely large oak trees shelter the grounds enclosed within a chain link fence.
1985 Survey by Mrs Lizzie Rucker, Clara Sue and W.R.Pythian.
