Galena Cemetery belongs to Galena Immanuel Church. The Galena Cemetery was founded in 1887. The first location was in the southeast corner of the northeast quarter of section #23. Three were buried there as known, two babies, a Rigenhagen and an Osborn, and Mary Wagner. Mary Wagner was later moved to the new cemetery north of where the Galena Immanuel Church now stands. Galena Immanuel Church is located in the southeast quarter of section #11 in Galena Township.
There are nine unmarked graves in this cemetery. There is one Cival War Veteran buried in Galena Cemetery.
