|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Also formerly known as St. Patrick's Cemetery. This cemetery, as noted below, was located, according to a 1950 transcription, in the rear and north of St. Patrick's Church in Martinsburg. The church is no longer there, except for the steps. There is a plaque on the original steps indicating its use from 1861 to 1941. The cemetery seems to be cared for and is fenced across the front with an iron, rusty fence.
Please note that this is a different cemetery from the later St. Patrick's on Findagrave.com that is on the Highmarket Road a short distance from Constableville.
About 6 miles from Martinsburg, N.Y., on Maple Ridge Road, the cemetery is back of the site of St. Patrick's Church. To get to Maple Ridge Cemetery, take Route 26 north and turn left at Martinsburg, NY onto Cemetery Road. This road becomes Keener Hill Road when you cross Route 29. Turn left off of Keener Hill Road onto Graves Road, then turn right onto Maple Ridge Road. Stay on Maple Ridge Road, a "minimum maintence" ATV stone road that takes you through the Maple Ridge Wind Farm region, until you reach the rusty iron fence on your right as mentioned above. The cemetery does not have a sign.
