|Bradford (Gibson County)|
|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
The Bradford Cemetery is located in Bradford, Gibson County, Tennessee. The land for this cemetery was given by James M. Baker in a deed dated May 7, 1886, and was originally called Baker Cemetery. One road leads into the cemetery and then splits making a loop around the older section which is situated on a hill. The graves in the older section date from mid 1850's.
Even though there are two separate sections divided by the road that runs through the cemetery it is still just ONE cemetery.
The cemetery is now known as BRADFORD CEMETERY but is often referred to as BRADFORD (OLD BAKER) CEMETERY because of it's original name.
