|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Heading west on Maine Route 17, go through the village of Kents Hill, go past the Fayette Country Store and continue for a few miles. A road takes off on the right. It is a sharp turn back and is named the Jackson Mills Road. Follow this road maybe 200 yards and a road takes off to the left. This is the North Road although it is not labeled as such. Follow this road past farms and fields until one comes to the old Baptist Church of North Fayette. It sits up from the road a bit on the left. On the right is the North Fayette Cemetery. Look past this cemetery by the road, down at the bottom of the hill and one will see the Old North Fayette Cemetery. There are huge old white pine trees that signal the corner of the old cemetery. It is in plain view from the road. Walk down a grassy path that actually looks drivable.
