|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Notes from Alex Ellis (2002): Follow Hwy 222 out of Saratoga toward Fountain, turn right on Allen-Gay Rd at the county line. Go about 300 yards to a path on the left. Follow the path past the Horton Cemetery toward the back of the farm. A pond will come into view along the path; turn left, toward the pond. You must park just beyond the pond and follow the tree line back toward the entrance to the farm. The cemetery can barely be seen from the edge of the field. Three large cedar trees mark it.
2013 Update: The cedar trees have been removed. The path has also been moved by new owners. When the pond comes into view, look to your right for a small patch of trees. Graves are toward the back right of the trees. As of March 2013, new owner has cleared debris on the back of the patch of trees. Unknown if they will continue clearing, possibly destroying the graves.
At one time, wooden markers were visible on the outskirts of this cemetery. They were the graves of slaves of Ichabod Moore. These wooden markers are now gone.
