The Central Cemetery was founded in 1845. It is a non-denominational cemetery, and it is run by the East Bridgewater Cemetery Corporation. This cemetery shares a boundary, but otherwise has no other connection, with Old Graveyard. The Central Street entrance is open, and the Hobart Street entrance is closed.
