Bavaria (Bayern) Germany
|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
At least the third cemetery in Aschbach. The first was a traditional "Church Yard" surrounding the (now) protestant Church. This was used from around 1136 to 1833, when a new site was set aside outside of town. This cemetery only lasted until 1882. In that year continuing drainage problems left the community little choice to move the cemetery yet again. The new (and current) site is located next to the Jewish cemetery, (founded in 1724).
