|Cemetery notes and/or description:|
Florence Presbyterian Church Cemetery was originally called Cross Roads Presbyterian Church Cemetery because it was at the cross roads of Pittsburgh-Steubenville Pike and Washington-Georgetown Road (Rt. 18) in Florence, PA. Prior to that the church, organized in 1785, was located about 4 miles from Florence near King's Creek in Hanover Township, Beaver Co. The original cemetery at King's Creek is now located in Raccoon Creek State Park.
This was the site of Crossroads Presbyterian Church, founded in 1786. It was renamed Florence Presbyterian Church in 1847. The building was destroyed by fire Feb. 26, 1963. All that remains at the site is the cemetery.
There is a seperate listing for King's Creek Cemetery, Beaver County, PA.
